Since her debut in 2016, Colleen Halverson (AKA C.B. Halverson) has published a new book almost each year. The Aisling Chronicles includes Through the Veil and Children of the Veil, and her Irish Heroines series including The Wild Irish Girl and The Captain's Rebel. Her work is on shelves at Barnes & Noble. She has a speaking events page on her site. She has a fan group on Facebook. Isn't this all stuff we desire as will-be-authors?

She will speak about agents and platforms on Wednesday, 21 August at our Zoom meeting. Since most agents are on hiatus from queries right now, this is the perfect time to get some ideas about your queries before you start sending them out again first week in September.

As a child, Colleen Halverson used to play in the woods imagining worlds and telling stories to herself. Growing up on military bases, she found solace in her local library and later decided to make a living sharing the wonders of literature to poor, unsuspecting college freshmen. After backpacking through Ireland and singing in a traditional Irish music band, she earned a PhD in English with a specialization in Irish literature. When she’s not making up stories or teaching, she can be found hiking the rolling hills of the Driftless area of Wisconsin with her husband and two children. Her latest paranormal romance is entitled The Curse of the Fallen. She also writes historical romance as C.B. Halverson.
